Shahrukh khan Biography : Leaving behind a blazing trail of glory…..
Can we define the splendid career of one Shahrukh Khan, in this manner? Badshah of Bollywood, King Khan, etc, etc. – so many effervescent titles have been awarded, meaning, of course, more than any black or golden or brown lady, that he may have won a plenty! A man, who started as a junior artist, now inspires thousands of aspiring actors around the world. Born on the 2nd of November, 1965, Shahrukh started his journey with the commercially successful Deewana (2002). The rest, as they say, is most definitely, history with a capital H!
Career

Shahrukh Khan has added quite a few feathers to his cap over the years. As an actor, producer, brand endorser, owner of a cricket team and most importantly a successful business man. And, this man sure knows how to woo the audience and keep them on their toes! Let’s take a look at all these branches of his career separately:
Shahrukh as Actor :

From Fauji and Circus to My Name is Khan and the recent Ra-One and Don2 – Shahrukh’s filmography is an interesting one indeed. It was Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992) & Deewana (1992) that entered his name as a commercial hero, Darr & Baazigar (both released in the year 1993) that ensured his place in the industry and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) that established his presence in the world glitz and glamour, forever! At this point, Anjam (1994) deserves a special mention, for his unforgettable and at times, spine tickling performance in a negative role, opposite none other than, Madhuri Dixit. This was definitely his hat trick in the genre, that was not his own, but one that he had made very lovingly, his own.
After DDLJ released, he was on a roll. There was hardly a gap of a year, when there was no major release on the pipeline. Thereafter, he came back with a bang, in the year 1997, with blockbusters like Koyla, Yes Boss, Dil To Pagal Hai and Pardes, followed by Bollywood milestones such as Dil Se and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). Such was the magic of his dimpled, naughty smile and trademark style that it made its way to millions of hearts worldwide. Rahul and Raj – the two most common character names in Shahrukh’s films, became household favorites, in no time at all.
Critically acclaimed ventures like Swades, Asoka and My Name is Khan, were head-on answers to the purists of the film industry. Questions about his acting prowess were no longer relevant with these releases. Much has been said about Ra-One (attracting a lukewarm response) or a questionable Cameo in Dulha Mil Gaya, but with occasional movers-‘n-shakers like Om Shanti Om, there is hardly any space for such doubts to linger for more than a few hours, at the most! And, this notion can certainly be cemented for good – with Don, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Don 2 – three powerful aces, enough to shut them critics up, for a good time to come!
SRK as Producer:

Red Chillies Entertainment, Shahrukh and Gauri’s home production enterprise, has already won accolades for its endeavors in producing films, TV commercials, the special effects studio VFX as well as supplying advanced multimedia production equipment. Some of the successful productions under its banner include My Name is Khan, Om Shanti Om and Ra.One. Founded in the year 2002, Red Chillies Entertainment has made its name not on the basis of the owner’s fame alone. Rather, the efforts of the VFX experts also contribute in a major way, so much so, that the production house has already bagged in all the awards that matter in this business - Star Screen, Film Fare, Producer’s Guild and Zee, among others.
Shah rukh as an Entrepreneur:

And, not just any, but par excellence! This man has done it all – from owning one of the most star studded cricket teams in the IPL (Kolkata Knight Riders) to endorsing cash rich brands (i10 and i20, ITC foods, Airtel, Pepsi, etc.), he indeed has quite a few achievements under his belt. And, man, does he know how to manage his money! A business minded shrewdness, that hovers around the thin line with cunningness can surely be credited as the reason behind his success as a business person.
Shahrukh khan Personal Life and Achievements
